Guest Speaker: Brooke Erickson, YES

Before becoming the Development Lead at the YES Shelter for Youth and Families, Brooke Erickson spent 12 years working in public sector communications. After moving to Peterborough, and seeing the problem with homelessness in this community, Brooke was extremely motivated to use her skills to help with a solution. Brooke has run the communications and fundraising program at YES since 2018, and in that time has helped double the budget of the organization. Everyday, Brooke enables community members to help solve the problem of youth and family homelessness in Peterborough, and finds it to be a truly fulfilling and incredible role.
