The Impact of Peterborough Community on My Life

Titus Ngouepo was born in the Democratic Republic of Congo and later fled to Kenya with his family due to unending war and difficult living conditions, where they spent seven years in Kakuma Refugee Camp. Since arriving in Canada in 2018, Titus has been actively engaged in his community through volunteer work with the New Canadian Centre, Junior Achievement, and the Peterborough Youth Council. At school, he is involved in student leadership, Model UN, and entrepreneurship programs, where he enjoys supporting others and creating opportunities for students to grow. Titus is passionate about social justice, public service, and the role of law in building fairer communities. In his free time, he enjoys playing soccer, basketball, and reading.
