Kingston Veterans Village Project

Mark is a past Hon Col of the PWOR Regiment in Kingston. He served 30 yrs in the Canadian Forces.

In 2016, he was awarded the Légion d'honneur by the Gov't of France in recognition of his leadership of the Hill 70 Project, which saw over $14million (Cdn) being raised across Canada in order to erect a Memorial in Northern France dedicated to the members of the Canadians Corps who fought (and won) the 10 day Battle of Hill 70 from 15 - 25 August 1917.

Mark is the President of Action Meals Corporation, which supplies emergency products for governments and the outdoor sports sector. His corporate experience encompasses work in both manufacturing and marketing. An ex-cadet of the Royal Military College of Canada, he served until his retirement as an officer with the Royal Canadian Dragoons, with assignments in Europe, The Middle East, and Africa. He is a past Chairman of the Guild of the Royal Canadian Dragoons, a past Honorary Colonel of the Princess of Wales Own Regiment, the current Chairman of the Hill 70 Memorial Project as well as The Homes For Heroes Kingston Veterans Village Project.
